Inquiry into treatment of those with mental disorders by justice system

There should be an independent inquiry into the treatment of suspects and offenders with cognitive and behavioural difficulties, in particular those with Autism, by the Criminal Justice System.

This inquiry should be used to make the currently failing British Criminal Justice System more humane, transparent, accountable, fair and proportionate for those most vulnerable and in need of proper care and support.
